# Revenue Recovery

Revenue recovery settings control what happens when a customer's automatic payments fail: the retry schedule, what happens to the customer's subscriptions after the last retry fails, and what happens to their unpaid invoices. The settings apply to your whole account — every subscription and every payment plan — and there are no per-customer settings. Saved settings also apply to customers who already have unpaid invoices.
